- eircom’s speech enabled project at Allied Irish Bank is awarded top prize –

London, UK – October 21st , 2008 – SpeechStorm, (www.speechstorm.com) , the specialist provider of speech self-service solutions for contact centres, has today announced that its strategic partner, eircom, was awarded the top prize in the Telecoms, Media & Technology category at the recent Inspired IT Awards ceremony in Dublin’s Mansion House. eircom won the award for the development and implementation of a managed speech enabled business solution for AIB.

The solution developed and implemented for AIB by eircom and SpeechStorm is the single largest speech recognition deployment in Ireland. The solution delivers standardised processes ensuring a consistent customer experience in all AIB branches across the country. The new solution has greatly enhanced the customer experience, created a greater focus on value-adding activity, optimised the benefit of available technology and ultimately resulting in substantial cost savings.
