Siperian, Inc., a leading provider of a multidomain master data management (MDM) platform – recently announced that it has changed the name of its award- winning MDM platform to Siperian Multidomain MDM Hub™ to more accurately represent the way their customers are leveraging the solution. Organizations rely on the multidomain master data management platform to increase customer profitability, reduce operating costs and better address regulatory compliance issues. Siperian customers continue to be recognized for their innovation as they evolve from early MDM pioneers to true multidomain business innovators and advance their MDM journey beyond a single business case to a broader, enterprise use.

Today, nearly half of the Company’s existing customers have extended their initial MDM footprint to include additional data domains, such as product data, all on the same multidomain MDM platform. Siperian’s multidomain MDM platform was designed to be flexible so that the Company’s customers and partners could configure the Siperian Multidomain MDM Hub initially for the most important business solution and then expand the same platform to solve other business problems. In fact, the Company’s customers and partners are widely regarded as being at the forefront of master data management thinking and practice, with many of the world’s most sophisticated MDM deployments prominently featuring Siperian solutions.

In a July 21, 2009 independent Forrester Research, Inc. report titled, It’s Time To Revisit Product Information Management (PIM), Rob Karel, principal analyst and author of the report wrote, “Of all MDM solutions, Forrester believes that Siperian’s MDM Hub has most effectively demonstrated its ability to support multiple data domains — including customer and product — within a single platform.”

In 2008, Siperian customer Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems (JJHCS) won Gartner’s inaugural Master Data Management Excellence award. The award is an honor bestowed upon the company that has shown leadership in their MDM efforts and for ensuring that its MDM initiatives are approached with consistency, simplification, uniformity of process, analysis and communication across the enterprise. Attendees of the 2008 Gartner Master Data Management Summit chose JJHCS as the winner based on the best example of MDM excellence. The Company, which leverages Siperian Multidomain MDM Hub, relies on their multidomain MDM initiative in order to create the perfect end-to-end experience for their commercial customers from product supply and contract management to order and revenue management.
