ST1400 and ST1401Provide Excellent Digital Capture Resolution with Seamless Integration to the Latest Operating Systems
Columbus, Ohio – June 25, 2013 – Scriptel Corporation (Scriptel) today announced the official launch of the next devices in its line of ScripTouch Signature Pads, the ST1400 and ST1401.
“The ST1400 and ST1401 target customers who are looking for a dependable solution but do not have a need for LCD capabilities to represent a signature on the device. Scriptel’s StaticCap Digitizing Technology is still a key component to this glass based digitizer,” said Steve Allyn, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Scriptel Corporation. “StaticCap provides excellent signature capture resolution utilizing a durable glass substrate.”
Scriptel’s ST1400 will support Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Plugins. These plugins provide the ST1400, and other ScripTouch Signature Pad Products, with seamless signature capture integration to the latest versions of Office 2013, Adobe Acrobat & Reader XI and Windows 8.
By using standard drivers common across all major computer operating systems, the ST1401 does not require any additional software installed to client machines. The ST1401 also eliminates the need for ActiveX controls or Java Plugins by passing signature data directly to the browser. Coordinate information can be received through a basic script.
“The ST1401 passes its signature data points to all major web browsers in a way that is format friendly.” said Allyn. “We drastically minimize the amount of testing needed to support the constantly changing browser landscape.”
