Sainsbury’s Delightful Customer Dialogue – That Sounds Fishy!

Creating ‘dialogue’ with customers is something that 3D businesses do! They engage with them in the way that their customers want. Here’s a great example from Sainsbury’s after Marty Lawrence – aka @TeaAndCopy – tweeted them, telling them he’d had trouble buying a packet of salmon, because it had no ‘bar cod’!

David from Sainsbury’s responded  with “Were there no other packs in the plaice, or was that the sole one on the shelf? Floundering for an explanation!” and a fish pun filled dialogue ensued that has gone viral on the internet.

It’s a great example of empowering people to create a ‘personalised experience’, and go the extra mile to make the customer feel valued – that’s customer delight!
