Use this form to apply for an author account and create an author profile.

Author Account Requirements

All CustomerThink authors must blog under their real names. We do not allow accounts under pseudonyms, anonymous, group or company names.

Authors must register with their own business email address. Helping someone else register? That’s OK, provided all the details belong to the author including business email address. No exceptions. PR reps: If you register for your client with your email address, the registration will be deleted.

For author security, we don’t permit free email accounts (gmail, hotmail, etc.). We also don’t allow generic or role-based email addresses like admin@, marketing@ or info@ because they are commonly used for distribution lists, not individuals.

Authors will be approved if account profile information demonstrates significant prior writing experience and expertise relevant to this community. Freelance writers and digital/SEO marketers will not be approved.

• Login Info

• E-mail* The author's own business email address must be provided. For author security, we do not allow free email accounts (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.) or third-party email addresses (e.g. marketing department, PR reps) in author profiles. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Username* For security reasons, do not make username the same as your email address. Note: After you register, you will be able to login with either your username or email address.
• Password* Minimum length of 6 characters.
  The password must have a minimum strength of WeakStrength indicator

• Profile Info

• First Name*
• Last Name*
• Suffix Name suffix, such as Ph.D., Jr., etc.
• Company* Enter the name of your current employer; it should match your LinkedIn profile. Job titles or marketing taglines are not permitted here.
• LinkedIn* Your personal LinkedIn profile link. Company profile link is not permitted.
• Website* Will be used as hyperlink for your company name.
• Short Bio* Enter your short bio of 50-60 words (600 characters to be precise). Use this space to inform readers of your background; don't use it to promote your company. Simple HTML such as bold, italic or hyperlinks are OK, but other tags are not permitted here. All characters, including spaces and links, count towards the bio length.
• Your Image *
  A headshot image is required. No company logos or avatars permitted. (Tip: use your LinkedIn image. Right click on the image, save to your PC, then upload here.) If you don't provide an image, the moderator will use your LinkedIn image.

• Other Contact Info

  If provided, this info will be included in your author profile, which shows at the bottom of every post. Be sure to include the complete url starting with "https://".
