Redmond, WA— September 29, 2009 — Knouen Technologies, the leading innovator of enterprise productivity solutions that increase the adoption of Oracle’s Siebel CRM, today announced that Platform Computing, the leader in workload and resource management software for clusters, grids and clouds, has selected Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel to enable its worldwide sales force to work more efficiently with Siebel CRM through Microsoft® Outlook®.

“We required a solution that would enable our sales force to be even more productive,” says Troy Ramdeholl, IT Director, Enterprise Business Applications, Platform Computing. “Knouen OfficeSync automates key CRM processes and that allows our sales organization to focus on servicing our customers rather than reentering data that was already in Outlook back in to Siebel.”

Platform Computing uses Knouen OfficeSync to reduce the time their sales force spends on non-productive tasks such as duplicating data between Siebel CRM and Microsoft Outlook to accomplish processes such as opportunity and contact management. End users work naturally in Microsoft Outlook to create and respond to customer emails, as well as to schedule meetings. Knouen OfficeSync captures these interactions and logs them automatically in Siebel, without any additional entry or effort by the end user.

Knouen OfficeSync provides bi-directional synchronization of appointments, contacts and tasks between Microsoft Outlook and Siebel CRM. This secure and seamless integration enables companies such as Platform Computing to capture more sales activity information in Siebel by allowing its users to perform key CRM activities in Microsoft Outlook.

“Knouen OfficeSync increases the productivity of enterprise sales, marketing, support and customer facing professionals who are often frustrated by the lack of connectivity between their CRM system and their daily use Outlook,” says Meetul Shah, CEO and Co-Founder, Knouen. “We are pleased to be working with world-class organizations such as Platform Computing to maximize their investment in their CRM system.”

Knouen OfficeSync for Siebel CRM is part of a suite of on-premise and mobile productivity enhancement solutions. Knouen VoiceCRM, the company’s newest mobile solution that converts voice mail into activities in Siebel, will be available in Q4 2009.
