NetSuite Continues To Roll

I like these guys as those of you who read my blog PGreenblog know, they are one of my six finalists for the 2007 Steppin’ Out Awards announced yesterday.

What makes me kvell over my selection is that companies that I choose keep going out and proving that I’m a smart dude for choosing them.

About 20 minutes ago (8:00am roughly EST), NetSuite announced their ability to integrate with eBay through the the internal operational side of things (accounting, etc) and the supply chain (inventory management, etc.) plus of course, that domain we know and love most of the time, CRM – by providing NetSuite based marketing campaign tools and management of customer records.

That’s just damned smart of them.

Why because there is an eBay community of 222 million users and they all could be potential eBay business owners and everyone wants to do business on eBay more effectively.

NetSuite is positioning this module as an add-on for NetSuite Small Business or NetSuite and they’re announcing it at the same time they are announcing their vastly improved mid-market ecommerce suite.

For those of you who don’t know, NetSuite is going public this year at some point and seeking a valuation of about $1 billion. At first, when I heard this, I was skeptical but over the last few months, I’m beginning to think that they just might get it.

They are getting that good.

AND

That smart.
