ACT! users may now send and receive faxes directly from within ACT!.
Ottawa–MyFax™ recently announced that it fully integrates with ACT! customer relationship management software. MyFax, also fully integrated with both Microsoft Office and IBM Lotus Notes, is one of the most popular business Internet fax services for sending and receiving faxes using email accounts and the web. This newest offering benefits more than 2.5 million registered ACT! users including 35,000+ corporate customers.
The new add-on from MyFax allows ACT! users to send and receive faxes over the Internet directly from within the CRM application. The result: those using MyFax in conjunction with ACT! save time while simplifying the workflow process. In addition, faxes sent to a contact in ACT! are automatically tracked in the History of that contact, and received faxes can be saved to the history of any contact. Another benefit of MyFax for ACT! is that users can send faxes to an unlimited number of ACT! contacts simultaneously. The faxes sent can easily be personalized with the mail-merge feature built into ACT!
Also included in with the ACT! integration are tools to analyze and augment communications with customers. MyFax offers ACT! users the ability to track faxes sent through the CRM database, review a history of up to nine documents, add billing codes, and record details in the activity section for each contact.
“We are pleased to recommend this valuable add-on to our users,” says Edward Kachinske, President, Innovative Solutions and author of ACT! 2007 Quick Reference. “We are always looking for enhancements and the MyFax integration certainly is beneficial to everyone who faxes to contacts within ACT!”
“ACT! is one of the most versatile and popular customer relationship management tools in business,” says Joseph Nour CEO, Protus IP Solutions, the provider of the MyFax Internet service. “The integration of MyFax with ACT! builds on that position, making it easier for ACT! users who send faxes to work more efficiently. Now they not only don’t have to leave their desks, they don’t even have to leave their CRM application.”
