MiiScan: Being Easy To Buy From Just Got Even Easier!

Creating great customer experiences starts with ‘being easy to buy from’ and a new ‘app’ called MiiScan appears to make it even easier to do that!

MiiScan is a revolutionary new ‘app’ that allows you to scan a barcode or QR code with your phone and pay instantly via credit card. You can scan codes in magazines, or on TV, and simply put in your password and it’s paid for!

So, imagine you’re perusing the Sunday newspaper magazine, and you see a shirt you like, simply scan the code, pay and it will get delivered to your door!

Now, I know you might be saying that’s not something that our business can offer our customers or even that’s not relevant to our business, but I think it does have implications for your business!

Why’s that? Because it ‘raises the bar! MiiScan looks like another tool that helps make (some) businesses ‘Easy To Buy From’. It joins everyday things like Google that provides instant answers at the touch of a button and Amazon’s 1-Click that allows you to buy things incredibly quickly and easily with just ‘1-Click’. These things are already the ‘norm’ and provide a benchmark that others are compared to, regardless of what business sector you are in.

As customers find it considerably easier to buy from one business they transfer their experience to other businesses. “If they can do that, why can’t you?”

As Seth Godin once said ‘The Jones’s no longer live next door’. In other words, your ‘competitors’ aren’t just the other businesses like yours – they are all businesses, particularly those who are ‘raising the bar’!

How easy are you to buy from?
