Results Indicate Increased Demand for Marketing Automation Products
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — February 2, 2009 — Market2Lead, a leading provider of marketing automation software and services, reported today that its license bookings increased by 111 percent in fiscal year 2008 as compared to the previous year. In another indication of the increasing demand for its products, the company reported that bookings for the fourth quarter of FY 2008 increased by 98% as compared to the same quarter a year before. Market2Lead also announced today the appointment of Kevin Joyce as its Chief Marketing Officer.

“The recession has actually increased the demand for marketing automation software and services,” said Geoff Rego, co-founder and CEO, Market2Lead. “It is now more important than ever for companies to have strong demand generation, lead management and automated lead nurturing systems. Marketers have recognized the unique value Market2Lead provides in these areas, especially in terms of our business intelligence capabilities. We help marketers focus their investments on the programs and tactics that generate the greatest returns on their marketing investments, in terms of sales opportunity dollars, which is especially important in today’s economy. With the addition of Kevin

Joyce as our new CMO, we look forward to further capitalizing on the increased demand for excellent marketing automation software and services and further growing our business in 2009.”
Joyce comes to Market2Lead from Rubicon Marketing Group, where he served as CEO and CMO since July, 2005. During that time Rubicon grew by more than 100 percent each year. Rubicon’s focus on demand generation and lead nurturing provided Joyce the opportunity for first-hand involvement in the deployment of a variety of marketing automation solutions, including Market2Lead and its competitors. Prior to Rubicon, Joyce served as vice president of marketing at Unicru (a provider of human resources software) and prior to that as a sales director at IBM.

“I’m excited by the growth opportunities at Market2Lead,” Joyce said. “Knowing how its products compare to those of its competitors, I’m certain we can increase awareness and adoption of this cutting-edge marketing automation solution and boost Market2Lead’s role as a leader in this market.”
