Content marketing is not new. It starts getting high precedence and become necessity of businesses of all type (small, medium and large). Without content or low-quality-content websites hurt badly by Google Panda updates – but the websites that are/were branding around the content and actively producing quality, original content are ranking better on the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages).

Content curation works well for every industry whether you are in Ecommerce, real estate or B2B business. Websites that heavily invest in content marketing are more likely to get large amount of traffic, brand trust and generate leads.

Here I’m with my 5 ways of creating compelling content to grow brand as a top-notch firm.

5 ways of creating compelling content

1) Build Audience through Blogging

Blogging is a smart way to create fresh and engaging content which can also help you building continuous traffic, supporting audience, and an ideal helping material. When a website publishes new content on the website, it could be seen by a million of people while the users are searching for their problems, your blog may solved. For example, if your blog is about “Home Improvement” and you help them solve their home related stuff i.e. DIY tips (not your brand promotion) you are actually saving their time and money with those useful tips.

It builds users trust; they will remember & value your stuff and will realize that you know – what you are doing. By the end of the day, when they require any expert advice either they will search on your blog or contact “you” for help.

Pro Tip: if you are not sure how to write blog posts. You can facilitate by the post I wrote here

2) Guest Blogging for Promotion

Blogging as a guest author for some other already managed blogs with greater audience (than yours) can help growing your traffic and leads. When you write creative posts for those blogs, readers will search to see your work and may also subscribe to your own blog for content updates.

Guest blogging works pretty well for promoting your own stuff by linking in those posts, for references. This activity will bring reader’s interest, traffic and quality links to your website that will also help in increasing search rankings of your stuff.

Guest post publishers also offer you to write promotional stuff of 2-3 lines about the author, and brand by linking to your websites and social media profiles. Which is the last spot to connect with the readers through social media or getting subscriptions (depend on what are goals).

3) Writing Guides for Incredible Referrals

Writing excellent guides on widely discussed topics with in-depth research or some foolproof solutions could bring you some incredible refers and build your online reputation. If you can manage to put those guides on your website and offer it for free on a quick signup form, users will register with their email addresses to download/read those guides.

You can then send them monthly newsletters, guides and new promotions directly via email. It would generate regular traffic, attract potential customers, and respect as a thought leader.

4) Youtube Video Creation and Marketing

Youtube is the world’s largest video community, second largest Search Engine after Google and the best platform for building brand awareness. If you missed the opportunity to be there, you are maybe losing lot of potential clients.

Video Content marketing makes you visible to more than 1 billion unique visits on Youtube who watch 6 billion hours of video each month, “Almost an hour a month for every person on Earth and 50 percent more this year than last.”

Make your brand visible on Youtube by uploading some video helping stuff, for example: help people by showing how to fix their gutters and pipe leakage, or interview of your clients, coworkers etc. and update the video account regularly. These videos may bring you some quality links, some traffic, attract potential customers and increase channel subscribers.

5) Infographic Building Strategy

“A picture is worth a thousand words”

Humans are more likely to attract by visual aids and the content with attractive visuals is 43% more effective in persuading audience. It is also found that, most of the users don’t like reading content every time. You can take advantage by creating informative infographics to attract those visitors also.

Infographic worked tremendously well for all niches and can be a perfect link bait activity as well… You can add the infographic on your website and can re-use it on some other places (with linking back to your website) – it doesn’t make any trouble of “content duplication” as Google can’t read the images. These infographics can grab hundred of high authority links and targeted traffic for your website.
