Developers and Enterprise Customers Now Have Access to News and Hoover’s
ConnectMail powered by Jigsaw

AUSTIN, Texas – July 12, 2010 – Hoover’s, Inc. today announced the latest
updates to its Application Programming Interface, Hoover’s API 3.2. This
version gives Hoover’s API customers access to news, as well as the ability
to download and purchase contact information directly from within their
custom workflows via Hoover’s ConnectMail powered by Jigsaw.

records and 85 million professional contact records to its API customers,
Hoover’s API 3.2 now adds functionality and value that extend far beyond the

ability to access millions of Jigsaw email addresses and phone numbers for
more targeted outreach efforts, thus extending customers’ reach into
organizations by helping them more quickly target the right people with the

Sourced from news feeds and company Web sites, API customers can, for
example, use news to create triggers for better lead generation or call
preparation, as an impetus for reaching out to a customer or prospect.

latest enhancements provide tremendous value to his company, which primarily
conducts public policy and social science research.
