Top Sales Veteran Added to Storage Innovator’s Executive Leadership Team

Gridstore™, the leader in software defined storage solutions, today announced that it has named Chris Sterbenc as its vice president of sales. The technology industry veteran has joined Gridstore to oversee its sales channel expansion as it embarks on the next phase of its growth strategy.

Reporting directly to Murphy, Sterbenc joins Gridstore from Axcient, Inc., where, as the company’s vice president of sales he built a go-to-market strategy that resulted in dramatic growth of the channel, customers and revenue for the cloud-based backup provider. Prior to that, Sterbenc was vice president of sales at Untangle, Inc., and vice president of worldwide partner programs at Apparent Networks, Inc. He has also held executive sales and marketing positions with Microsoft Corporation, NCompass Labs, Inc, and Rainmaker Systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer and informational sciences from University of California, Santa Cruz.
