SAN BRUNO, CA (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 07, 2017

Freshworks, the leading provider of cloud-based business software, today announced the launch of Intelligent Workflows , a marquee feature in Freshsales, their successful CRM product that was launched a year ago.

The new feature provides a simple point-and-click interface to help set up and run virtually any sales process through a series of workflow automations. Freshsales CRM has garnered a loyal user base of over 7000 customers in just over a year since launch by virtue of its powerful yet user-friendly features, simple and highly intuitive UI, and its ability to scale with growing sales teams.

Features like AI-based lead scoring, built-in phone and email, visual sales pipeline, activity capture and powerful reporting have helped businesses scale and optimize their sales processes. With the new Intelligent Workflows update, Freshsales has added another formidable feature in its arsenal to take on larger, established incumbents in the sales CRM space.

Following up on leads, sending emails, raising invoices are some of the repetitive tasks that a salesperson needs to do every day. Repetitive tasks end up becoming mundane and that’s when errors kick in.

With Intelligent Workflows from Freshsales, sales teams can sit back and let the system do all the work for them. “With the launch of this feature, sales teams can now create seamless workflow automations for even the most complex processes in a matter of minutes,” said Srivatsan Venkatesan, Head of Product, Freshsales.

“Repetitive tasks can be automated which in turn helps sales teams focus on tasks that need their attention, thereby helping them be more productive.”

Intelligent Workflows in Freshsales are like simple “if-then” rules. Once a user creates a workflow, the rule scans for user-defined triggers, such as a new lead being created, or a deal status being updated to “Closed/Won”.

Once a trigger has been detected, a user-defined action such as creating a follow-up task, sending a personalized welcome email, modifying a record, or even using webhooks to send instant notifications is carried out. A specific highlight is that you can track user behavior on your website or app and leverage these insights for smarter conversations.

“By automating emails and tasks, Intelligent Workflows in Freshsales ensure all leads and deals are managed efficiently,” said Patrick Barnes, Co-founder, and CEO, Advocately. “The flow-on effect of this means absolutely no leads or deals are mismanaged, thus making the team more productive and of course, an increase in sales.”

Availability

Intelligent Workflows in Freshsales is available immediately, and new users can sign up for a free, 30-day trial to evaluate the software. Intelligent Workflows is available on Blossom, Garden, and Estate plans.
