Former Yahoo! Marketing Executive Michele Madansky Teams Up with Marketing Management Analytics to Advance Digital Strategy

Wilton, Conn., Feb. 3, 2010 – Marketing Management Analytics (MMA),, the pioneer and innovator in marketing effectiveness, today announced that it has partnered with Michele Madansky, who will be serving as its Senior Digital Advisor. Madansky, a highly sought-after consultant to major Fortune 500 firms on online media research and advertising effectiveness, was formerly Vice President of Customer Insights at Yahoo!

In her new role, Madansky will be responsible for ensuring that MMA includes the latest digital thinking and research in its models and advisory services. She will be active in MMA client engagements where digital media plays a major role in marketing activities, and will also be a major participant in MMA’s Client Digital Summits. These summits will help MMA clients understand how to better measure their digital efforts in the context of their overall marketing mix.

At Yahoo!, where she worked from 2003 to 2007, Madansky was responsible for market research efforts supporting product, marketing, sales and corporate needs. While there, she built a world-class Global Market Research team, which grew from nine to 40 researchers. Prior to Yahoo!, Madansky founded and developed the marketing mix modeling and analytics division of Grey Advertising, which was branded Grey Insight Partners. She began her career in the Marketing Sciences group at BBDO Worldwide, where she became the first interactive specialist after launching the BBDO Techsetter Hotline on Compuserve in 1994.

Madansky has a Ph.D. in Marketing and Statistics from the University of Chicago, an MBA in marketing statistics from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in applied math and economics from Brown University. She is a lecturer at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences as well as business schools.
