Good friend Evan Carroll sent me this Purple Goldfish today. Evan used Fast Park & Relax today on his way to Austin for SXSWi. He shot me the picture above via a tweet.

Not only are you greeted when entering the facility, but when the shuttle driver meets you at your covered parking spot, the driver hands you a handy reminder card with your space number filled in.

It gets better. Customers receive a bottle of water upon their return while being shuttled to their car. Fast Park & Relax nails the critical moments of first and last impressions. How’s this for an unexpected treat? Weather permitting, they’ll also wash your car.

From One Capital to Another

This isn’t the first time I’ve heard about Airport Fast Park. They showed up as #377 in Purple Goldfish Project courtesy of Neal Levene at Simple Complexity:

When you enter their lot, an attendant greets you and shows you the best row to park your car so you don’t have to search for an open space. The shuttle meets you at your parked car so there’s no waiting at a shelter. Then the bus driver helps you with your luggage, and if it’s raining meets you with an umbrella. While on the bus, the friendly driver actually talks to you, and on your way back the shuttle takes you directly to your car, with a complimentary bottle of water. Who knew bus rides could be enjoyable?”
