First Online Marketplace For Third-Party B2B Marketing Applications
in the Cloud

LONDON – June 21, 2011 – Today at Eloqua Experience Europe 2011, Eloqua CEO Joe Payne announced the “Eloqua AppCloud,” a first-of-its-kind online marketplace for B2B marketing applications. AppCloud is a hub for a growing list of B2B marketing applications that connect directly with Eloqua’s powerful Revenue Performance Management (RPM) platform. The marketplace includes free connections to Lithium Technologies, Jigsaw, ON24 and more than 20 other leading social, data and conferencing applications.

With the rapid growth of cloud-based services, channels and applications, getting a complete view of the buyer can be challenging. Eloqua AppCloud lets marketers browse, evaluate and integrate dozens of marketing, sales and social media applications with Eloqua’s hosted platform. These free “connectors” allow Eloqua users to increase marketing efficiency and collect massive amounts of actionable data, which will help trigger more personalized, relevant communications that generate more qualified leads and improve revenue performance.

According to a recent Gleanster report titled “Revenue Performance Management: The Sales and Marketing Playbook Finally Has a Name,” RPM demands a holistic approach to prospect engagement. Connectivity is critical for companies striving to achieve RPM and the report goes on to state, “RPM demands a structured approach to measuring the effectiveness of all marketing channels. That means lead management technologies must also help integrate and analyze data from webinars, events, SEM, direct mail, etc.” This vision is central to Eloqua’s plans for the AppCloud.

Eloqua AppCloud helps companies achieve the interconnectivity required for RPM by bringing together a large network of independent vendors developing the applications marketers access every day. Eloqua is the first company in its category to truly create a marketplace for third-party solutions within the cloud.

“Fast-growing companies today need to understand all the touch points of the buyer’s journey,” said Joe Payne, CEO of Eloqua. “Social media, webinars, data management – these all play a critical role in the buying cycle. With Eloqua AppCloud, marketing and sales professionals can see and analyze buyer behavior across a wide array of leading application developers. Armed with this deep level of intelligence, companies can act more nimbly and drive dramatic revenue growth.”

“The connection between ON24 and Eloqua delivers tremendous value to users,” said Mark Szelenyi, Senior Director of Webcasting Product Management for ON24, a global provider of webcasting solutions. “The seamless linkage between ON24’s lead generation capabilities and Eloqua’s Revenue Performance Management platform creates a powerful, integrated solution – the most sophisticated sales enablement solution in the market.”

The list of connectors available today on Eloqua AppCloud includes Adobe Connect, Eloqua Discover for Salesforce, ReadyTalk, RapLeaf, DemandBase and more. Visit http://appcloud.eloqua.com for a complete list.
