Big data analytics is a huge trend these days. Moreover, it has become a consideration when it comes to the various programming languages today. Programmers have to stay updated all the time on all the evolving technology systems. Furthermore, huge amounts of data could help build solutions for the framework that are effective.

There is no reason why C# could not be used for big data science. This is because traditionally, C# is part of the framework of .NET. Anything that is written in Python or Java could be written in C# too.

BETTER SUITED FOR BIG DATA ANALYTICS SOFTWARE
C# programming is actually better suited for big data kind of algorithms than Java simply from how it could handle structures where Java has no concept of them. The programming language also could have a ‘yield’ type of functions to break down the problem further.

WILL BIG DATA BE BIG WITH SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS?
.Net developers are database developers. Microsoft has opened the world of big data to its ecosystem a year ago with the Hadoop on Windows Initiative. A year after, while still in a preview form, the technology has a brand, which is HDInsight and considerable integration with .NET. Hadoop is queried natively via imperative Java code, using two-pass approach that’s called MapReduce. In the framework, a Map function preprocesses data first and a Reduce function aggregates it.

Bringing Hadoop to Windows and giving integration and debugging support for C# is a nice trick. It goes a long way in making Hadoop an enterprise technology that is developer-friendly. The alternate JavaScript-based framework for MapReduce code of Microsoft makes it friendly to JavaScript and Node.js developers.

THE HUGE DATA INDUSTRY
Data analytics is a big industry phenomenon today. But, data scientists and MapReduce developers that enables implementation are an exclusive group. They are professionals who are short in supply and they don’t come cheap. Big data, in other words is a specialty at the height of its hype and is indeed ripe for disruption.

Data analysis has been at the heart of BI for some time, but analyzing the huge volume of disparate information, which underpins huge data renders traditional approaches all but useless. Companies who want to exploit huge data required a team with the right skills. Data analysis requires three major skills, such as analytics and statistics, compute science and domain knowledge, along with strong communication skills. These skills often exist across various staff members, thus one has to bring them together as a team. Thus, a successful huge data team would have to begin with a data scientist. Instead of their field of expertise the base level of analytics expertise that is inherent in data scientists provides the scope to check trends in data that might be missed by others. The skills are guided with an understanding of business context, which drives analysis. Also, business analysis includes the ability of distinguishing cool facts or cool analysis from insights that would matter to a business and communicate the insights to business executives. Therefore, a team is likely to require a business analyst and a data scientist to extract the insights desired from big data in an effective manner. With the right analytical skills in place, a team would have the right technical skills of maximizing the potential of systems and software available to process and disseminating large data. Nevertheless, for large data to be huge, this has to change. The set of skills have to be mainstream and ubiquitous. Business developers are database developers and Microsoft thinks that they could be developers of data analytics as well.

THE POPULARITY OF C#
The popularity of C# is now higher than ever. The C programming language was named the programming language of 2012 with the PYPL or the Popularity of Programming Language index. C#’s popularity rose by 2.3 percent a few years back, more than any other programming language. While it’s still not as popular as PHP or Java, it’s neck and neck with C++.

Knowledge of C# could get a developer a job in the big data analytics environment. The growth of the programming language spurred through the release of Windows 8. Currently, C# is the most used language in developing third party applications for Windows. Furthermore, it’s also a very popular language on mobile devices. C# also is the most-used language in Windows Silverlight programming. Because of the popularity of data analytics today and all the factors that make C# a good option, companies are in search for programmers that are C#-savvy.

Big data in simple terms refer to data sets that are very large that it’s challenging to process it with traditional processing tools. The system impacts C# development in a huge and positive way. Developers of the programming language have to use huge data sets to develop effective business solutions.
