IRVINE, CALIF.– (December 18, 2012) – Data Fusion Technologies, Inc. (www.dftech.com), a leading provider of business intelligence and consulting services for law firms, including those in the AmLaw 200, is pleased to announce the appointment of David van Toor as the organization’s new chief executive officer.

Van Toor brings more than twenty-five years of experience to DFTech and is charged with accelerating the company’s growth in both its software and professional services divisions. Throughout his career, he has proven himself effective in aligning cross-functional interests while dissolving barriers. In his new position at DFTech, van Toor brings the necessary experience to further build upon the environment DFTech has created in which understanding client goals and needs when considering various solutions supersedes selling any one particular product or service.

“DFTech is comprised of the most respected and talented people in the industry. Because of this, the company provides exceptional and inimitable value in the law and professional services space,” stated van Toor. “I’m honored to be part of an organization that’s deeply rooted in achieving a level of service that’s unmatched in this field. The legal profession is facing extreme downward pressure on margins, and this is driving the need to make the best possible decisions from the available information. I’m excited for the opportunity DFTech presents to firms to begin the return to profitability.”

Whether it is supporting a firm’s billing system or providing strategic advice on implementing the latest business intelligence technologies, DFTech has historically been recognized for its design and development of products alongside its customers. Currently, DFTech’s Intellistat family of business intelligence products enable clients to drive data to decisions with a more succinct and intuitive interface. As CEO, van Toor will be charged with implementing DFTech’s approach to solving critical business challenges: continuing to customize products alongside clients to ensure the entire Intellistat product line is easily deployed and highly effective in serving the needs of DFTech product users.

Van Toor previously served as a principal for No Plan B Business Development, a business strategy development and guidance provider for service-oriented companies in the training and coaching industry. Prior to that, van Toor gained notoriety as a thought-leader and an influential person to watch in the industry while he held the title of senior vice president and general manager for Sage Software’s CRM solutions, a leading global supplier of business management software and services. Van Toor attained a 20% increase in loyalty scores in his time with Sage and also increased product beta testing participation by more than 300%.
