Helping people work online, Zoho today announced the 15th anniversary of ZOHO Corp. The announcement marks the success of the long-term vision and culture that underpin ZOHO Corp., helping to create a company that was built to last. As the company prepares for its next 15 years, it is focusing on expanding various aspects including mobile focus and application integration as well as improving the overall user experience of its applications.

“We are deeply grateful to our customers, partners, employees and the rest of the ZOHO ecosystem for helping us reach our 15-year anniversary,” said Sridhar Vembu, CEO of ZOHO Corp. “Our success can also be attributed to our long-term approach to business. As a company founder, I have no interest in exit or liquidity. I’m in business to run a business, not to run away from it. As a result, ZOHO Corp. has survived several economic bubbles and busts, consistently turning a profit, adding new users and emerging as a market leader—something we intend to do for several years ahead.”

ZOHO Corp. Past, Present and Future

ZOHO Corp. launched in 1996 as Advent Network Management, Inc., later reinventing itself to become AdventNet, Inc., and now, ZOHO Corp. Today, ZOHO Corp. has three divisions:

• Zoho provides a comprehensive suite of online collaboration, business and productivity applications.
• ManageEngine offers innovative enterprise IT management software that features high-end functionality at cost-effective prices.
• WebNMS serves original equipment manufacturers in the network and telecom space, developing highly customizable network management systems.

The company started small and grew patiently, with each new division pursuing increasingly broader markets. The oldest ZOHO Corp. division, WebNMS, now has 25,000 Tier 1 carrier deployments. ManageEngine, the middle division, has over 50,000 customers. And the company’s youngest division, Zoho, has close to five million users. All three divisions continue to enjoy success, in terms of user adoption and satisfaction as well as bottom line profitability.

As ZOHO Corp. prepares for its next 15 years, the company is focusing much of its development efforts on the cloud. In addition to the online suite offered by Zoho, a growing number of ManageEngine on-premises offerings will be available as hosted, on-demand applications. Similarly, ZOHO Corp. will be focused on:

• Expanded mobile device support – ZOHO Corp. will expand its lineup of web and native apps for the iPad, iPhone and Android devices—all powered by the ZOHO cloud.

• Enhanced application integration – The company will offer more integrations within the ZOHO Corp. product sets and with third-party apps as well as contextual integrations that let users focus on their data and workflow.

• Refined user experience – ZOHO Corp. will redesign its applications across the board to provide a better user experience.
