One-e-App Application Manages Complex Data Integration, Improves Consumer, Government and Business Efficiencies

Palo Alto, CA – February 17, 2009 – Denodo Technologies, Inc. (, the recognized innovator of Enterprise Data Mashups (EDM) technology, today announced that The Center to Promote HealthCare Access, Inc. leveraged the Denodo Platform to upgrade One-e-App, a state-of-the-art, Web-based system that makes it possible for applicants and agents to log into and share information from several different federal, state, local and non-profit programs using a single interface. Using Denodo’s mashups and Web process automation, One-e-App connects to multiple external web-based applications and provides a more modernized, cost-effective, flexible and secure means for navigating a once complicated enrollment process for California’s publicly funded health and social programs.

“We chose the Denodo platform because of its ability to quickly and affordably address our complex data integrations needs,” said Bobbie Wilber, The Center’s Director of Application Solutions. “Using Denodo’s highly scalable, real-time Web process automation capabilities, we are able to create, manage, and automate Web processes and synchronize them with existing business processes. Denodo’s enterprise data mashups helped us to meet our extensive integration needs and allowed us to deliver One-e-App in less time and cost than traditional integration approaches.”

One-e-App replaces the previous time consuming, tedious, and error prone process that required assistors to log into several different programs to identify which services an individual was eligible for. One-e-App provides integration between external and internal applications across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data and makes it possible to identify coverage eligibility in real-time… When an assistor submits a query into One-e-App, One-e-App automatically sends a Web request to the appropriate applications and establishes a two way communication using a persistent browser. Denodo makes it possible for assistors to extract, integrate, and exchange data through the browser Web interface and provide virtualized real-time mashups to the business users.

The Center utilizes Denodo’s Data Mashup and Web process automation to manage complex operations and configurations including passing information to and from various agency Web sites. Over 70 different integration points were established between various systems. The Denodo Platform maintains a persistent connection with end applications, awaits the applicant’s response, and then based on the response, navigates to the next appropriate process, and continues to iterate through the entire application process. The Denodo system handles all data normalization and semantic transformations to communicate between the systems and delivers virtualized “single view” mashup results to users. All electronic signatures, dynamic page opening, form processing, and third party payments are now seamlessly processed. And, since the Center handles all coding requirements, the various agencies gain significant benefits without any coding or changes to their Web site.
