Business Growth and a Mustang

My wild mustang child Maverick is one of the best teachers I’ve ever seen. Every day I learn something new from my wild child.

You see, Maverick is a truly unprogrammed, Zero Gravity kinda guy. Now thats he’s learned that humans are ok – he lives pretty much by the original laws of nature.

With no Gravity fears or status quo limitations to hold him back – he doesn’t let anything limit him.

This video shares a lot of lessons – for ALL of us.

1) No one taught Maverick that being little meant he couldn’t stand up to something bigger (in this case WAY bigger). So he does just that – stands up as an equal. How often do we see a big competitor or problem – and not even try because we’re too small?

2) Maverick wasn’t taught to give up when the going gets tough. So he just keps going – persistence is a noble quality! How many times do we stop trying beause we feel overwhelmed by the size of the issues?

3) No one would believe that a pint sized pony could make a giant turn tail – but thats exactly what happened. What could we all do if we stood up and stepped out in courage in our big new economy?

Maverick wasn’t programmed to think he would fail. Nor was he taught limitations – a wild child has NO limits. He was taught that to survive – he had to keep going no matter what. And so that is exactly what he does.

For 2011, I’m adopting the Maverick way of thinking for life and business. Care to join me?
