To enrich the Information Technology knowledge pool of a range of academicians, students, corporate representatives and other stakeholders of society, SMS Varanasi has formed a cell named Centre for Advance Computing (CAC), in year 2008, to make the above mentioned parties aware of recent upgradations, innovations and modifications in respective stream. On the one end this Centre is fulfilling the educational and training related needs of different aspirants, and on the other hand same is also engaged in IT consultancy and related research work. To supply the quality input in various programs of Centre, SMS has already tied-up with academic and research institutions like IIT-Kanpur, & Software Companies like Adobe, Sun Microsystems, SPSS and Microsoft. CAC has successfully trained plenty of professionals, academicians and scholars from diverse engineering, graphic and management backgrounds. Successful participants have received Centre for Advance Computing Certification, a true testimony of skill.
This is needless to mention that Centre keeps on organizing training and research activities like Certificate in Advance Networking (in association with IIT-K), Certificate in Web-Designing (in association with a Software Company), at regular intervals. Besides this, SMS is only Certified Associate with Adobe, in Eastern UP region, for the purpose of certification program under flagship of CAC. In accordance with this certification SMS is authorized to delivered high volume of Adobe Certified Associate Certification exams in a single designated class room. Seeing the turnaround changes in the IT stream, importance and future activities of CAC appear extremely bright.
