Brussels, Belgium; September 30th, 2009 – The Altitude Software’s “Workout’09” User Group Conference 5th edition has brought to the limelight a new generation of “software as a service” business models and technology solutions that is changing the contact center services provider landscape in Central and Eastern Europe.

The two day event from the leading independent global contact center solutions vendor took place very recently in Brussels. It has brought together upstarts and leading CRM service providers in the European market, to meet and have an insight on innovative Altitude Software and partner vendor technology and business model solutions.

The User Conference has been a success in developing a close-knit industry community that has spawned new business deals and contributed to a new “business ecosystem” supported by leading edge technology solutions. “This is a great event, with great business opportunities and insights. Namely, I have witnessed new business deals arise from the interaction between decision makers and entrepreneurs in the industry”, remarked Pierre Leijder, Vice President BDI of STS. “The partnership between NextiraOne and Altitude Software has been delivering value to customers for some years, especially in Eastern Europe; This as reflected in increased participation and great discussions and networking at the Workout09”, stated Piotr Zygadlo; Carrier Division Manager at NextiraOne Poland.

At the Workout’09, senior executives, Altitude management and partners shared experiences and discussed, in an open and relaxed environment, the most important trends and challenges facing contact centres today. A special focus was on Hosted / Software as a Service solutions, a segment that has benefited from the search for cost-effective alternatives and the emergence of a new generation of stable, feature-rich solutions with a track record of successful implementations and flexible pricing.

“At the Workout’09, we discussed the industry’s main trends, and hosted solutions, as well as unified communications with workflow are top of mind”, said Laurent Detournay; General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Altitude Software. “Our solutions have a track record of quick deployments, minimal cash outlay and quantifiable ROI with reduced maintenance burden. Software as a Service solutions have a very promising future and the potential to fundamentally change the industry landscape, even after the recession abates.”
