Striking gold on the silver screen or in business requires a deeper understanding of the people behind the characters. Hollywood tends to portray salespeople as smooth, money-hungry individuals, willing to do just about anything to get a deal done. However, there are a few movies that hit the nail on the head and portray salespeople for who they really are: goal-oriented, structured and high-performing individuals.

The best movies contain real sales lessons. For example, Hollywood has created main characters, such as Brad Pitt in Moneyball or Tom Cruise in Jerry McGuire, who challenge the status quo, encouraging others around them to consider a new way of doing things. These characters are aggressive when it comes to goal-setting and understand the importance of relationships.

We’ve compiled four major memorable movie quotes into an infographic to showcase what it takes to be a strong-performing sales organization.
