Finally Q4 is here. You have successfully finished the first 3 quarters of 2014. Although companies face seasonal slowdown during the 4th quarter, this is not the best time to take things slowly. In fact, business experts suggest that the last 3 months of the year is the time to take action and do some things more productive. Here are some guidelines that will help entrepreneurs and company leaders on what to stop, start and continue to hit the finish line of Q4 unbowed:

Stop

This is the time of reflection. So stop for a while and think about the things that you have accomplished over the last 9 months. Ask yourself: What behaviors, plans or ideas that are non-performing? Taking the time to reflect on the accomplishments and review the performances from the previous months helps to identify strategy that results in weak production. Perhaps there are some tools that the companies use that do not perform as promised. Stopping for a while allows the leaders to sort things out and gather all things that should just put to waste.

Start

While some people tend to slowdown in the Q4, it has no room for slowing down. In fact, it is the time to start refocus yourself and end the year strong. What ideas may lead to better results? What behaviors can be considered? Starting the use technology tools is highly advised. Using these tools, learn to analyze the market to make the new marketing strategy customer-centric.

Continue

Continue working harder to get to the finish line in the following 90 days (or less). Ask yourself what you should be doing that is working really well right now. At the same time, to keep the business running, do not be overwhelmed by holidays and vacations left and right. Continue to accept orders from customers. Continue doing the sales and marketing plans personable for the customers. Best of all, continue motivating the employees to keep working, doing the best you can to help them stay focused.

Ending the 2014 year unbowed is very much achievable by doing the stop-start-continue guidelines.
