About a year ago, just over 100 authors got together to write a collaborative book , Age of Conversation, about marketing in a socially networked world. The brain-child of marketers, Drew McLellan and Gavin Heaton, Age of Conversation brought together some of the sharpest minds in social marketing. Each wrote a 400-page, single page chapter on what social marketing meant for them. I wrote a chapter on, what else but ‘Valueing Social Networks’. All proceeds went to the Variety charity’s Lifeline programme to help children with heart problems.
Now it is your turn. Drew & Gavin are inviting future authors to write a chapter for the 2008 book. Anyone can become an author. You don’t have to be famous. You just have to write 400 words. Fame will surely follow. But first you have to decide what the book should be called by voting for one of three proposed titles.
There’s the challenge. Do you want to be a published author? Have you got something interesting to say? Do you want to help sick children? Of course you do. So send Drew an email saying you will write a chapter and get on over to vote for the new book’s name.

Graham,
Thanks for the heads up. I will vote and probably contribute a piece.
Isn’t social networking marvelous. There is so much stuff going on but it one is connected to others who are actively engaged in the conversation, it eventually comes to you. That is, as long as you continue to participate.
