Want To Think in 3D? Start With The ‘Why’!

Why are you in business? Why should I work for you? Why should I buy from you? These are all questions that 3D businesses have thought about, can answer….. and crucially, can Demonstrate that answer!

How do they actually do this? Well, there are certainly no ‘magical answers’ – Although I do believe that there are a number of ‘Charactersitics’ (Well, 7 actually!) made up of a number of key ‘ingredients.

I feel that my job is to explore these ‘Characteristics’ and ‘Ingredients’ and explain as best I can how they do do it through my blogs, presentations and training sessions.

3 of these issues are….

  • ‘Getting That Vision Thing’! Get people to ‘buy in’ to what you do.
  • Having a ‘Dramatic Difference’! Do things that others don’t or can’t do.
  • ‘Choosing ‘Em or Losing ’em’! Focus on the customers that they want to do business with.

….and I’ve got lots of examples of how they do this which you’ll find on this website.

However, I came across this TED video today featuring Simon Sinek which I think really gets to the heart of the issue – the ‘Why’!

Watch it – it’s well worth 18 minutes of your time!
