Talk Talk Makes People Talk Talk

Here’s a great example of the power of negative ‘word of mouse’ due to poor customer service!

Brodband and mobile phone provider Talk Talk has been awarded the Money Mail’s Wooden Spoon award for the worst customer service – and it’s the second year in a row that they’ve won it!

I don’t use Talk Talk, so can’t comment on their service, but that hasn’t stopped lots and lots of others doing so…. and it’s not good! The award itself was ‘won’ by votes from unhappy customers and the number of negative comments that reinforces on the This Is Money website is outstanding. It really does show the power of word of mouse.

It tends to put you off too – can’t imagine that anyone looking for an internet provider, having read those comments would consider talking to Talk Talk!
