Synapse Technology Expands Business Development Team

Industry Veteran Brings Over a Decade of Database Marketing Experience to Rapidly Growing Firm

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – March 5, 2007 – Synapse Technology, a leading provider of Event Based Marketing solutions, announced today that Brit Linkner, an industry veteran with over a decade of experience in the application of database marketing techniques in financial services, has joined the firm as Business Development Executive – Financial Services. In this new position, Mr. Linkner will be responsible for expanding the company’s roster of bank clients, primarily in the Southeast U.S.
“We are delighted to add an individual such as Brit to our expanding sales and service team,” said Mike Berry, SVP Financial Services, Synapse Technology. “Our recent acquisition by Mailnet Services has resulted in our being able to offer banks throughout the US a much larger portfolio of Event-Based Marketing tools and related products and services than we had previously. We were looking for an individual who had a thorough understanding of the issues that financial institutions face in trying to increase revenues and grow deposits through a variety of database marketing techniques. Brit’s experience fits the bill perfectly.”
Prior to joining Synapse, Mr. Linkner held a variety of management roles with financial services industry leaders such as Wachovia, Transamerica, and First Union, where he was responsible for providing multi-channel marketing solutions to retail annuity and life insurance channels and their partners.
“I am very much looking forward to helping expose financial institutions across the US to the robust solution set Synapse now brings to the marketplace,” said Brit Linkner, Business Development Executive – Financial Services at Synapse Technology. “As a market leader in the application of technology to increase revenues and profitability across a bank’s retail operations, I feel that my experience will help Synapse build on its success in the future.”
