It’s What You Do Next That Counts

In big surgical procedures, doctors will often get donations of blood from a patient before surgery so that it can be used to for transfusions during and after the procedure.

I saw this billboard in St. Pancras Int’l train station in London this morning and found myself wondering, “How often would we all find learning for our current challenges in our past?  How do we donate and store our own wisdom so that it is available to us when we may not be thinking so clearly?”  For Tiger Woods, whose private life has been made public, there might be a hint in this ad which he probably did months ago.

The caption reads “It’s what you do next that counts.”  True enough for Tiger right now, but not just Tiger.
