It’s safe to say that Game of Thrones has had a massive impact on the television industry. The popular HBO series has gained immense popularity since its first season and has continued to deliver high ratings for the last six years. We thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the lessons learned from the seasons and relate them to sales professionals.

A major theme of the show is the conflicting factions, also known as rival houses. Sales professionals in the game of sales have their own way of achieving, and hopefully exceeding, quotas, much like the house in Game of Thrones each have their own way of achieving their goals.

In our infographic, you will find the three houses: house archetype, house mold breaker, and house trailblazer. Each characteristic was inspired by a recent study of 1,000 sales professionals, with the goal of understanding the characteristics of top sales performers.
