Industry Expert To Present Teleconference on Using Social Media To Drive Customer Engagement
March 26, 2007. (Tewksbury, MA) — Joe Lichtenberg of Eluma will present, “The Web 2.0 Customer Engagement Pyramid: A framework for evaluating social media initiatives,” as part of the WOM Wednesday series hosted by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA). The conference will take place at noon EST on Wednesday, March 28, 2007.
During this one-hour teleconference, Lichtenberg will teach marketers a framework for evaluating Web 2.0 tools with an eye for engaging more customers more deeply. “Many marketers find it challenging to understand and navigate the maze of technologies and sites. But, it doesn’t have to be,” says Lichtenberg. “Web 2.0 tools generally can help marketers do one of three things: acquire new customers; maintain a relationship with existing customers; and, reward and more fully engage the most loyal customers. Using social media effectively requires brand marketers to consider implementing technology to help them do all three.”
Lichtenberg is VP of Marketing & Business Development with Eluma (www.eluma.com), the provider of the only brandable desktop application that drives customer loyalty and incremental revenue through the power of communities. Eluma’s innovative technology enables marketers to connect their users with their most trusted source of information, their peers, while providing an always-on connection to their desktops.
