Below are two inspiring and uplifting videos I think you'll really enjoy. Both are about 3 minutes. Each can serve wonderfully as your own or your team's resolution for 2010.

They're based on two bestselling little books (both less than 20-minute reads) — 212 the extra degree and Smile & Move. Both messages might make a great theme or motto for the New Year or an upcoming meeting. More about each is below. Enjoy…

212

212 the extra degree(r) is a powerful philosophy that reminds us how sometimes it's the smallest things that can make the biggest differences.

Simple. Clear. Actionable. 212 (two-twelve) will become a part of everyone's vocabulary – a way to say "go get 'em" and a way to say "great work" – a call-to-action that will help you capture the attention of your people and inspire them to new levels of effort in everything they do.

You can read an excerpt from the book or pick up a copy (20-minute read, at most) at www.GiveMore.com/212. The Do-It-Yourself training package is a great way to introduce the concept. Mugs, t-shirts, hats, and other gear are also available to help your people "Be 212."

Smove

Smile & Move(TM) is a fun new call-to-action you can use as a reminder to stay focused on the fundamentals of being valuable to each other and to your customers.

It's all about attitude and action. There are 5 ways to smile and 4 ways to move. Learn about each at SmileAndMove.com or by picking up a copy of the little book at GiveMore.com/smile (20-minute read, tops).

If you like the message, you might enjoy the Do-It-Yourself training package. It can help you help your people to be better "Smovers" (people who smile & move).
